The BGV / Badische Versicherungen insurance group, headquartered in Karlsruhe, offers comprehensive insurance cover for private and corporate customers throughout Germany. Established in 1923, the Badische Gemeinde-Versicherungs-Verband (BGV) is the market leader in Baden as a specialist insurer for municipalities. The group offers property, accident, personal liability, vehicle, and legal protection insurance to private and corporate customers. BGV employs some 700 staff and 40 apprentices.

The Challenge:
Personnel changes forced the in-house operations to examine long-established structures and processes and make strategic and operational plans for the future.

The Solution: 
FOODVISIONS made a detailed analysis of all operational and administrative processes as well as the organizational structure and cost-efficiency. This data was used to identify areas for potential optimization based on a benchmarking comparison. The next phase focused on strategically realigning the organizational structure and developing a new catering concept. Workshops and trend scouting with chefs in selected staff restaurants helped BGV gain a long-term understanding of the new, optimized catering concept for employees and the board of directors.
