PERI PERI is one of the largest global providers of formwork and scaffolding systems. Its headquarters with some 1300 employees is located in Weissenhorn near Ulm.

The Challenge:
The company had outgrown the existing employee and customer catering facilities at its headquarters. It needed a catering concept that met its employees’ needs and also reflected its corporate culture and philosophy.

The Solution: 
FOODVISIONS was commissioned to develop the catering concept (company restaurant, coffee bar, catering for conferences and coffee breaks) for PERI GmbH. The customer also wanted to learn about the available operator concepts (in-house vs. outsourcing) and the advantages and disadvantages of each, including cost considerations.

FOODVISIONS custom-designed the concept within the scope of customer workshops. The specific cost-effectiveness forecast was a significant factor when developing the concept and selecting the operator concept. Building work for the new staff restaurant building is scheduled to start in spring 2015, as is the invitation to tender.
